About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and driven API Developer to join our growing team in Florham Park, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or SOAP APIs to support business applications and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements, specifications, and architecture
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Perform API testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance, availability, and security issues
- Ensure API security standards including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in API development using REST, SOAP, or GraphQL
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#
- Experience with API management platforms and tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
