About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and driven Release Manager to join our team in Florham Park, NJ! In this critical role, you will oversee the end-to-end software release lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments that keep our technology running at its best. Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the full software release lifecycle from development through production deployment
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to align release schedules and minimize risk
- Maintain and improve release management processes, pipelines, and CI/CD workflows
- Track and communicate release status, timelines, and potential blockers to stakeholders
- Conduct post-release reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
- Manage change control processes and ensure compliance with release governance standards
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases to ensure system stability and uptime
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in software delivery
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release automation tools
- Experience with Agile and/or ITIL frameworks and release management best practices
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
