About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Florham Park, NJ! In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for resolving technical issues and delivering outstanding support experiences. Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Document support tickets, resolutions, and technical procedures in a ticketing system
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- Assist with system installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technical processes and workflows
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification is a plus
